GCS will enter an exciting new phase of its 39th consecutive years of racing this April.

Long time stock car racer #4 Dennis Rogers will hang up the helmet and take the reins of the famous speedway in the next exciting chapter of GCS history this April.

Dennis has acquired the business and leased the property from the Cooper family becoming only the third operator in the tracks storied history.

When asked what changes there will be, Dennis answered that his intent was to follow the successful formula developed by the Coopers and looked to keep both classes, rules, sanctions, and operation dates the same as they have been for the past few years in an effort to ease financial burdens that so often accompany rules changes.

With a first race planned for early April and play days to take place several weeks preceding the opening, North Texas and Southern Oklahoma racers will soon be back at it trying to tame the slick high banks of Grayson County Speedway!

More details will be released shortly including banquet and registration dates.

 Grayson County Speedway is a 1/4 mile semi-banked dirt oval track IMCA sanctioned track.

We encourage a family atmosphere and provide alcohol and non-alcohol seating.
