Grayson County Speedway wants to be more than just a place to race and watch races. We want to be a part of the community and give back to those in need. We will have a charity of the month that we and the fans will have an opportunity to raise money for. We will have a prize each month for the top money making boy and girl. This is a great opportunity to teach our kids the value of community service.
May- Autism Awareness
Autism Awareness month was a huge success. The fans drivers and kids raised $1522. $761 going to Autism Speaks and $761 going to EPCA of Sherman.
2 great kids with big hearts were our bike winners.
Madelyn Dhane won the girls bike raising $355. Madelyn just celebrated her 4th birthday and instead of presents she asked that people give money to help out her fund raising for Autism Awareness.
Cameron Wright won the boys bike raising $300. Cameron then gave his bike to Matthew Forsythe who raised the second most money for the boys.
