Bring a carload of kids and their bicycles this Saturday. They will race at intermision! As for special classes, GCS will welcome the Texas Star Series who run dwarf/mod light cars. These cars are a great fit and put on a tremendous show at GCS. After last weeks barn burner between Sustaire and Gould in the modified class the crowds look to increase so get there early for a good seat, heck get there early for any seat! GCS, the place to be this Saturday night!
Attendance was huge. Make sure next week you arrive early to get the best parking and seating spots! If I could sum it up shortly. The last race of the night was awesome. The track surface proved to be fantastic. A picture perfect race finish came from the modified class with the 71 (Kevin Sustaire) and the 60 (William Gould) dancing around each other all 20 laps. In the last turn it looked like Kevin was going to win, but William managed to get his car in the right position to win by 12 inches at the flag stand! The crowd was on their feet and cheering. The comments backed up the excitement felt by everyone. We heard echoes from some very prominent promoters with experiences at other tracks mentioning “only at Grayson County Speedway can provide racing like that!”
See you next week!
